5. The force transmission system during weighing: when placing the object to be weighed on the bearing plate, the four components of force act on the key knives of the long and short levers, and the force is transmitted to the key knives of the measuring lever by the force point knives of the long lever and the connecting hooks.

6. By manually adding and subtracting the weight and moving the balance weight, the measuring lever is balanced, and the weight indication of the weighed object can be obtained.

Mechanical scale Maintenance matters:  

1  During the long-term use of the platform scale, the blades and bearing rings of the platform scale will suffer from certain wear and fatigue, and the accuracy and sensitivity will be reduced. Therefore, the mechanical scale must be checked and calibrated regularly. In general, it is overhauled every six months or one year 

2  The collimator shall be kept dry and clean frequently, so as not to leave the liquid substance and dust in the collimator frame and each knife bearing. The lifting ring of the scale shall be kept clean frequently to avoid affecting the sensitivity (the same attention shall be paid to thallium addition to avoid losing the original accuracy) 

3  The traveling thallium shall be kept intact and shall not be removed arbitrarily 

4  In the process of handling, collision shall be strictly prevented, and it is not allowed to lift the measuring lever. Otherwise, the scale body and components will be damaged, and the measuring lever will be deformed, which will affect the mechanical scalability 

5  Do not put the mechanical scale in the open air, and do not put the scale together with corrosive articles, so as to prevent the service life of components from being affected by corrosion.
